SystemC AMS Installer Support

By special request we are releasing a MacOS installer for SystemC that includes the latest beta version (0.15 RC 5) of the Analog & Mixed Signal (AMS) extensions to SystemC. Pick it up on our Downloads page.

This installation also includes special links in the directory structure to more easily use the demos and test code released by OSCI and others via the command line make files. This allows you to just specify the systemc or systemc-ams istallation directories to be /Library/SystemC/Current and the rest of the files will be where the typical make files expect them to be relative to this path.

This installation includes an Xcode SystemC AMS project type that includes the systemc and systemc-ams libraries. So its trivial to get new projects up and running with the installed libraries.

The installer supports both PPC and Intel processors, and should work on both 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard). As usual, our testing is primarily done on Intel Leopard systems, so if you are having issues on other configurations
drop us a line.

Look for more AMS support in Scansion in the not too distant future. Wouldn’t you like to be able to view TLM traces, waves and analog in the same window?
